A lot of people think Akainu doesn’t beat old beard in spite of base Akainu literally fighting him with his hands in his pockets lol. Is Mihawk underrated or is Whitebeard just overrated?

Whitebeard may be overrated. Marineford Whitebeard definitely loses to Sakazuki and it wouldn't be an extreme diff either. The only time MF WB could damage Sakazuki was when he was distracted and with a cheapshot, and Sakazuki still tanked it. In return he took half his face and his chest.

MF WB vs Sakazuki is at most a high diff for Saka and mainly because WB has crazy AF endurance. The fight doesn't last more than a few hours though.

I think Old and healthy WB was in truth the World's Strongest Man, and I'm kind of committed to that view because I treat Mihawk's title as legitimate (and so must treat WB's similarly). As a result I think the WB that bitchslapped Ace in his sleep would beat Sakazuki.

Not even raw strenght wise Oldbeard was superior, let alone the other stats like stamina, lethality, speed, reflexes where Akainu commanded etc.
