Regarding Yan, yeah they aren't Chu or Zhao or Wei...but I at least hope Hara will have someone better than freaking Ordo as their top general loool. Like, for a degree of difficulty at least.

@Elder Lee Hung I think he might be more or less in Kochou's category. During this arc, Hara made him a voice of what Riboku was trying to do (the same thing as Bayou). Just like Kochou showed grasp of Kanki's tactic, despite obviously being defeated by him while Kanki was being heavily outnumbered.
Cannot compete with those guys but should still be quite competent.

Yeah Ordo and Kochou are probably in the same tier of GG, above the average Great General but not on the level of the Qin 6 or Zhao 3.
I have nothing against Ordo, it’s just that he’s been portrayed below the GGs who Hara wants us to get excited about. He lost to Ousen and retreated from Shibashou despite having the numerical advantage both times.

Yeah he either got dunk on or forced to retreat but...then again, those are the two people the poor fellow got matched up against until now in the story lol, Hara likes to use him as a character hype tool.

That’s the issue lol. Like I said Ordo isn’t weak but he seems to be beneath the GGs Hara wants us to be excited about. So Ordo as a major opponent for Shin just doesn’t work imo. Unless Shin just completely destroys him or something which I don’t think will happen.

Yeah Yan absolutely needs to have someone else as their main guy.
With Ordo, I think Hara will just boost his army with new additions (like new mountain lads) and might have him work in conjunction with someone else to build a sooomehwat more credible threat, if nothing else lol.

We shouldn't underrate Ordo and Yan. The man only jobbed to monsters, no shame in that and he also didn't fight on his terms. Yan is probably full of mountain/forest terrain where Ordo can show off his mountain tribe skills. I don't think any general will overshadow him tbh. Looks like he has the highest position and actually much influence on the King himself (talked him into the coalition iirc).

@MarineHQ we aren’t underestimating Ordo, he’s just not on that level that Hara tries to hype us for. He is weaker than Ousen and Shibashou as a general, and I don’t think Ordo is really an opponent who Hara wants us to be excited about.

Unless Ordo is the first Great General Shin defeats by himself in war, which is possible, I don’t think he’s a worthy opponent for Qin 6 Shin as he should be pretty definitively beneath the Qin 6 which Shin will probably be a member of by the time he is charged with defeating Ordo.

Qin probably won't even send a Qin6 for Yan. The independent units should be more than enough, but yeah, Ordo ain't even close to be a big arc oponnent. Hara actually makes effort building up Gohoumei

Yeah i still find it crazy how the Ousen army could hide themselves that well that they were completely undetected.
@Elder Lee Hung No need too imo. With Kanki and his army gone their manpower took a serious hit. Moubu and Tou will probably keep stalling Wei and Chu. Sending YTW against Ordo makes sense but it's overkill. I would find it nice for the three units to take over.

Well I guess I should clarify: do you not think Ouhon/Mouten/Shin will be Qin 6 after the fall of Zhao? I thought that was virtually guaranteed when Qin left the 6th seat open and challenged the noobies to compete for it. Lol

I think Mouten will probably bow out of the Qin 6 rank at least for now since he’s not that interested in being a GG anyway. He may be a Qin 6 in the future but I imagine Ouhon and Shin will get promoted at the same time.
Long-term, like I said I trust Hara’s judgment. I just hope Shin won’t end up facing Ordo because Ordo is probably the most jobbed-upon GG in the manga.
