CineraThere appears to be a noticeable gap between Santoryu and Nittoryu Zoro, and Kamazou appeared to be at best a high diff fight for Nittoryu Zoro.
I don't really buy the Luffy - Kidd angle either. That hypothesis predicts that Killer would be close to Zoro, but he got oneshotted the moment Zoro could improvise a third sword.
CineraZoro with Shusui should be substantially above Zoro with a mere scythe, and Zoro with a mere scythe could oneshot Killer.
CineraShusui was also by far Zoro's strongest sword. It was a black blade known for its extreme durability and it generated slashes so strong that they swallowed the slashes from Zoro's other two swords.
TheAncientCenturionKamazou = / = Killer. Give Killer his normal weaponry and I see him being on a similar level, but weaker, than Zoro.
CineraGiven how Kamazou vs. Scythe Zoro turned out, Santoryu Zoro should low/no diff Kamazou (Same Rengoku Oni Giri oneshot, but Zoro doesn't get injured beforehand).
CineraYeah, I don't place Kamazou on the same level as Killer, I am just sceptical that Killer's main weapons are so huge as to go from getting no/low diffed to pushing Zoro to high diff.
CineraZoro can still oneshot with Rengoku Oni Giri (one of his weaker Santoryu techniques), he can still blitz Killer.
The spinning scythes don't seem to change any of those two facts. At best they make Killer more proficient in close quarters combat, so he puts up more of a fight before getting OHKOed.
TheAncientCenturionJust imagine giving Zoro three random swords of no specific grade Cinera. I can't imagine Zoro would be as strong. The same goes for Killer. And given the relationship the two crews share, it makes sense for Killer to be close to but weaker than Pre-Enma Zoro.
CineraI agree that Killer wouldn't be as strong. I'm not saying that DR Zoro low diffs Killer. I'm trying to justify how big a gap we're expecting.
The main thing Killer gains from his main weapons would be superior CQC prowess. He can still get blitzed and oneshotted, so I think it caps out at mid diff.
CineraI was never too sold on the Kidd - Luffy portrayal implying comparable combat ability so I guess that's a crux.
Alternatively, I think Killer rises at most a levek due to having his main weapons. I can see him going from low diff vs Santoryu Zoro to mid diff vs Santoryu Zoro.
