You didn’t skip anything, right? Just saying because there’s an after-credits scene.
The manga is 100+ chapters long, so it might’ve been revealed at some point. I don’t know how many episodes the anime will have this year, but it seems seasonal. 12 maybe?
The otaku and… other thing weren’t used a lot so that’s good. Aqua is smart and Ruby acts like a kid (Shocker?! Lol).
ZoloI didint skip, but I didint watch post credit lol. I mean fiction those days are terrible, Its hard to find anything good. This does become better in the end. Hope it wont have no incest vibes though knowing that girl had some feelings... I mean thats why Im saying its weird.
ShiShiShi@Warchief Sanji D Goat Kinda impressive considering how Episode 1 felt like it was several episodes long. I’m not complaining though, haha.
The end was so sad though. When they were talking about how there was gonna be concert at a Dome my first thought was “This feels like a MJ This Is It concert situation.”, I was so hoping that wouldn’t be the case…
I hope it doesn’t get worse. IDK if I can take it. 🥲
Bisoromi BearI may actually keep watching even tho I'm not into idols.
I like how the show addresses the issues of the entertainment industry and how it introduced the various types of fans, social media, the pressure that idols face...
Zolo@Admiral Maynard we imagine stars dont strugle and life is easy for them... I mean its good to have fiction where we can see life from their perspective. Like yakuza does mafia good . Nothing is either just dark or just light
Also, here’s the scene I was talking about. I was hoping it didn’t become lost media somehow since I couldn’t find it on YouTube. It’s weird that you didn’t see it after the credits though.
Bisoromi BearI fear this might be turning into a generic revenge story tho.
ShiShiShi@Admiral Maynard I have a feeling 100+ chapters are gonna be about them trying to get revenge on the father. If not done right it could end up bad. 😭
It’s probably more of a side quest though. One of the core themes of the series is singing, so I doubt it’ll just be about revenge. I was a bit worried about Aqua at the end though. He was getting a bit too creepy there…
Bisoromi Bear@Zolo about the weird stuff in the beginning: the obsessive fan behavior is supposed to portray real fans who are the target audience + the show's creators want the fans of idols to watch so it has to be relatable
ShiShiShiIt feels kinda weird discussing an anime like an anime only, lol. I might read the manga at some point, but I’m wondering whether I should do that before or after the anime episodes release. I like that shocked feeling that happens when you don’t expect something, but once the 11 episodes air then it’ll probably be “See you next year!” like aaaaaaaaaaaa
This gives me flashbacks of MHA when I finished Season 4.
Bisoromi BearI'm not going to read the manga, it's easier to stay invested in a story when you don't have too use your head too much.
But ngl these high pitched voices are terrible 😅
ShiShiShi@Admiral Maynard I’m not as patient as I wish I was, lol. Once I get invested in something, I usually stick with it no matter what.
Ruby’s voice was really high pitch at times, especially when she was upset or reading social media posts. Hopefully it will be better now that they’re older.
Guess we’ll find out more next week! I’m looking forward to it.
