Sir YasheenHaven’t had enough play time as I wanted. But started with and only have gotten through the water temple and… I was very disappointed. Glad to see its the worst! (No spoilers please)
Sir YasheenThe temple was lame and the boss fight was just so bad. Which is a shame because Vah Ruta was so much fun in BotW
SentinelThe Water Temple is even worse than a Divine Beast. One main room + basement and there were 5 platforms on the 1st floor. You legit had 5 puzzles to do. That's barely a dungeon. Even some shrines had more content. Who designed this joke of a dungeon? The boss was funny tho. So far the worst Zelda dungeon. It was developed so half-assed.
SentinelThe 3 other dungeons are better than Divine Beasts tho. Wind Temple is an ordinary first dungeon with a banger of a boss. Fire Temple was really good even in comparison to other traditional fire dungeons. And Lightning Temple is just fucking great. Easily comparable to the best dungeons. I especially liked how you had your 1st encounter with the boss before the actual dungeon.
EmperorKinyagiA classic trope of Zelda games since OoT: the water temple sucks ass
Sir YasheenI actually liked Ancient Cistern from Skyward Sword. But yeah none of the others were good. OoT water dungeons (Jabu Jabu and Water Temple) were both so painful to get through
SentinelI think I'm a very minor minority who actually liked the Water Temple in OoT and TP. But yeah, Ancieng Cistern isn't only a great Water Temple but also one of the best in the series. Then we got... this in TotK. I refuse to call that a dungeon. The build up was perfect with the bubbles but why such a lacklusting dungeon? It should have been thrice as big as this one; with more puzzles and more rooms.
SentinelVah Ruta is objectively better tbh. But all Divine Beasts suffer from the visuals/architecture which makes a bland expression. Not to mention the trash "bosses". At least TotK had some great bosses, even the boss in the "Water Temple".
Sir YasheenHonestly the journey to the dungeon and the optional mini boss was significantly more enjoyable than the actual “dungeon”
