ConquistadoRPlay? Lol.
He's gonna walk on the pitch for 80 minutes, and then come home to scratch his balls looking at his bank balance fly.
It's just a last payday, nothing more.
ApolloHe could have gotten 1 billion euros for 2 seasons at Saudi Arabia. I don't think its the money.
I really hoped he'd go to Barca, but thats a dream that will never come true.
ConquistadoRI'm glad he didn't come back to Barca.
We have a good new project going & i'm not a huge fan of binning it all for Messi-dependency era again.
We have bigger priorities - a left winger, a Busi replacement, an RB & possibly a backup 9.
They should go all in for Gundogan or Kimmich (v. unlikely i know) or Zubimendi.
ApolloI don't think we can even depned on 36 years old Messi if he came back. And when he has motivation he can play very well as seen in the WC.
I wanted him to play in Europe and end his career there.
As for current Barca, I am happy Busquests and Alba are leaving to open the positions to new talent. Althought not sure if Gundogan would fit, he's in his 30's.
ConquistadoRGundogan's world class, he still has 2/3 years left of his prime until he starts declining.
Ofc, he isn't a long term replacement, but he improves the midfield instantly and his contract at City is also running out.
And he'd probably be just what youngsters like Pedri/Gavi need to mature into their roles.
Aaaand i dont have to suffer watching Roberto play in midfield anymore lmao.
ApolloI will pray we get good wingers on both sides. I don't want to suffer Dembele anymore too.
ConquistadoRHe's wasteful but he's good, especially at 1v1s and when he's not in the hospital xD.
Raphinha is also good, he has that 'dawg' in him and also provides good end product.
That said, we badly need a good option for the left wing lol.
Raph, Dembele and Ferran all prefer the right and Fati has been a shell of his former self post-injury.
ApolloI remember seeing Fati wanted to leave or was pressured to leave because Messi is coming.
Now that the hopes are gone, what will he do ?
ConquistadoREither staying and trying his best to regain that form he had pre-injury or leaving.
And i doubt he can regain that form, he had a certain explosiveness to his runs back then which he just doesnt have post-injury.
