BulletIt is what it is
There is always gonna be weird people on the internet
People do stupid shit and die all the time but if it's someone related to you it's a tragedy and if it's someone on the internet it's funny
RIP
Bisoromi BearNow make the same post about the refugees who drowned. And the prisoners in re education camps whose culture is being annihilated. And the millions of children who starve to death. And the victims of wars.
Bullet@Admiral Maynard nothing to do with the post
There is no one celebrating any of that
People die every die, there is a dozen dictatorship killing their people every day, people starving, diseases whatever if you don't care it's alright most people don't
Just ignore this one with the rest but what's the point of celebrating their death?
Bisoromi BearI'm not celebrating their deaths but I doubt these guys need my empathy. They already receive enough of that from all the people who spend thousands on the rescue mission.
I'm just here to point out the public's hypocrisy. The massive attention these 5 billionaires are getting compared to anyone else who's suffering and dying terrible deaths shows exactly what's wrong with humankind.
ShiShiShi@Admiral Maynard I get your frustration, it’s unfair. But those five people probably didn’t expect that attention when they went down. It serves as a lesson to those who would’ve wanted to do the same thing and those who would want to do it in the future; there are risks involved.
We can’t change how the world is, but that doesn’t mean we can’t show compassion towards what we can and can’t see. Why not both?
Bisoromi Bear"Those who want to do the same thing"
Are you forgetting that the majority of people do not have a spare million to spend on decadent hobbies such as this? Or are you being willfully ignorant?
"We can’t change how the world is"
Yes we can. But keep deluding yourself and shame others for not feeling empathy towards individuals who have more than one body in the closet, or how do you think they made their fortunes??
No we can not. If you expect us to be able to end world hunger and get world peace in our lifetime, you’re being really hopeful. As long as humans exist, evil will always linger.
If you can’t show even the slightest bit of compassion for human life despite your negative feelings than you don’t need to keep replying.
ShiShiShiIf it makes you feel better, the company responsible will probably get sued to the ground and this incident will most likely be forgotten by most within a year. I don’t know what else to say to you.
Bisoromi BearI use up my compassion for those who are worthy of it.
None left for billionaires.
Are they paying you well for your posts??
ShiShiShiI don’t even know if all of them were billionaires, they could’ve been millionaires as well.
Don’t paint me to be someone working for some corporate entity just because I have differing thoughts from you.
I already said what they did was stupid. I never said I disagreed with everything you said, so don’t get the wrong idea.
Bisoromi BearOk let's call it day. This ain't getting us anywhere.
Well, back to looking at pics of cute bunnies in the Carrot thread🌕
Adam 🍎100-150 refugees drowned of the coast of Greece last week, no one battes an eye
5 rich fucks do stupid shit and whole world redirects warships to save em
Is it tragedy? Yes
But fuck me if it aint stupid and totally undeserving of such magnitude of media coverage
Jew D. BoyBillionaires are no longer human, their experiences are so far removed from normal people as to effectively not be the same as everyone else on a spiritual and physiological level. It’s not like they were murdered, each of them knew the risks and chose to roll the dice…I can’t find a reason to feel bad that their decisions led to consequences like literally every single thing that’s ever happened.
A lot of billionaires aren’t good people. Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are good examples of this.
But despite this, I can’t help but still feel bad for them. Am I a bad person for feeling sad over their demise, even though they took a risk and could’ve donated their money to a charitable organization instead?
ShiShiShiThere was a 19 year kid among them who couldn’t grow up to possibly contribute great things to society.
I don’t think it’s fair that it gained such big coverage when many other incidents don’t, but I think the big reason for that was because it was connected to the Titanic which is something many people are still obsessed with (paying 250,000 dollars to see wreckage?)
Some things should be left in the past.
Jew D. BoyThe 19 year old is the sole victim here, he was reportedly terrified and his dad guilted him into going for Father’s Day…he’s the only one whose choice was coaxed rather than consensually, so he is also the only one who deserves respect and grace.
