Just be prepared to be frustrated and half to learn. A lot of people drop or hate the game after the chapter 1 boss (Balteus) but if you can get by him everything else is doable. It reminded me of my first playthrough of Sekiro more than anything else

Sekiro is just perfection. Arguably my favorite Fromsoft game.

@Elder Lee Hung the game is only 20-ish hours but there’s 3 different final bosses and you can’t get the true one until NG++, Ive only done one playthrough

Armored Core 6 was directed by by Masaru Yammamura the same guy who did the combat in Sekiro

i'm very surprised at the acclaim that the game's gotten tbh.
I remember thinking that I wouldn't be interested in the game unless they changed it to be more like a typical From experience, but it does look pretty damn cool from what i've seen

If it’s from the mind of Sekiro I will for sure try it out. Sekiro is really one of the only games I’ve ever played that I would almost describe as absolutely perfect. Not 100% perfect mind you but damn close.
The freaking headless ape and his bride boss as well as the Headless were dogshit but the rest of the game was peak.

I think the one thing to be careful of if you guys do play it is to remember it’s not a souls game. In fact your souls instincts can screw you. That’s why I got caught lacking for 4 hours.
You don’t have iframes, hit trading is expected, and there’s a reason why you can change your build after every time you die.

At the end of every mission you get a reward, and the more you got hit, wasted ammo, resurrected etc the less you get
