Too early for splitting the sky for someone with limited showings of haki usage and no understanding of haki flow (i.e basis of advanced haki) yet. But yes, I hope Kid gets a good arc in Elbaf, the disrespect should amount to something

Imo Kid already has ACoC. Or at the very least ACoA. Near death experiences are supposed to boost haki. That was the case for Luffy and Zoro. So I feel like going into elbaf, Kid will have at least some advanced haki due to his loss from Shanks. The rest of the arc will be him mastering it.

Also there’s no evidence that Kid can’t use flow. Any basic haki user that uses weapons can do it. Tashigi, helmeppo, and the amazon lily fodder all have flow, as that’s the basis of hardening weapons. Kid simply doesn’t have advanced flow powers, like internal destruction or barrier.

@Monkey D Theories Haki bloom and advanced haki are different things. Haki bloom overall improves raw haki, or awakens basic haki.
Advanced haki is a SKILL, you have to learn it. Luffy had to learn it after observing Katakuri for hours. Hyogoro had to teach him about haki flow and barrier haki, for him to learn advanced armament and foundation of advanced conqueror's

If it was so basic, how come Luffy didn't know it out of timeskip? Basic hardening of weapons and haki flow are different (by haki flow I mean advanced stuff like barrier at minimum). Advanced armament hurts Kaido, Kid couldn't hurt Kaido hence had to try crushing him.
