Imagine thinking that removing some lives from Hawkins is now a big deal for him, when his entire fighting style revolves around the concept of taking hits and losing lives. Oda doesn't even make him dodge. Hawkins clearly looked superior.

DC is bar none single most important stat in judging one's combat power. We use other stats like special abilities only when DC is missing.

Zoro's CoA in Wano was above high tier samurai's CoA even before his current CoA boost. That is superior portrayal than anything Cracker has received.
Not to mention what he did to Pica is superior CoA feat than anything Cracker has pulled off
