CineraIt seems that the bulk of hid combat ability comes from his devil fruit, so against such a matchup advantage he would significantly restricted. The main cavest is that he handily dealt with Mera Sabo (who should also be resistant to gravity).
I think Issho has no shot of beating Luffy below high difficulty, but I'm not confident Luffy can pull the win.
SentinelIssho mid diffs Luffy. Mid/High top tier >> low top tier.
Cinera@Sentinel I would say Issho is a mid top tier, and while powerscaling suggests he should win quite handily, Luffy does have a matchup advantage. Issho's fruit would largely be unable to hurt Luffy.
SentinelI doubt Issho is not able to combine his gravity with haki flow. I mean, he is a top tier swordsman, he should be able to do such a feat.
ShishioIsBackHonestly luffy pushes Issho to high/extreme diff. Match up advantage is huge on Fujis part, it is virtually impossible to "coat" gravity in Haki.
So Fuji would have to fully rely on his swordsmanship to beat Luffy. Swordsmanship and meteors as they lit on fire but Meteors are too slow.
ShishioIsBackMaybe Fuji can do something like Pin Luffy under the ground with his gravity and then summon meteor but as we saw for Fuji to apply strong enough gravity to pin down Luffy whose physicals are comparable to Zoros Fuji would have to sit there and focus fully on Luffy.
Just a mere gravity force field like he did to lift rubble ain't gonna do it.
SentinelWell, it's also virtually impossible to use haki on seismic waves (quake powers) and yet, Whitebeard was able to achieve this feat.
ShishioIsBackI think Whitebeard is applying Haki to air particles as he is punching the air to create those quake like waves. Its not an actual seismic wave you know, its not traveling through earth's layers.
Hence the reason why Whitebeard can a also create Tsumani's which once again normally Tsunami's are created by events like tips of Icebergs falling in the oceans.
ShishioIsBackWhitebeard is essentially bending air on a very high level and air has particles which he is coating in Haki.
FinalbetaOur boy Luffy isn't yet ready to take on that monster who is supposed to be stronger than Current Rayleigh by a decent shot
I would bet on Fuji being pushed to high difficulty however
FinalbetaFor the note Current Luffy is definitely stronger than Mera Sabo by a decent shot, however Sabo was probably an advanced haki possessor
ShishioIsBack@Sentinel that Whitebeard scenario is interesting, I wanna hear your opinion on it. How do you think his powers truly work? I think manipulating air makes most sense as it would explain Tsunamis and shockwaves
Sentinel@ShishioIsBack Well, your explanations kinda makes sense but yet again, we are talking about Oda who, at this point, maybe gave zero fuck how WB's quake powers truly work lol.
I mean, haki itself, the aura, is a non existing force of the laws of physics. Hence it could be possible that this power can be combined even with a force like gravity.
TheAncientCenturionIf Fujitora can't combine his Haki with gravity powers, he's not a mid top tier. He's a low top tier. 90% of his strength seems to be devil fruit related.
I think Luffy is a low top tier. So he pushes Fujitora to high diff.
ShishioIsBackWell I am just looking at the panel of Raging Tiger doing no damage to likes to someone like Luffy. Although Fuji was holding back, I don't think he was holding back enough to not wanting to do any damage at all. He was willing to damage Luffy like he was willing to damage Zoro.
ShishioIsBack@TheAncientCenturion That is true but I think that might be the reason why Oda introduced Fujitora a swordsman but not someone like Big Mom. Maybe majority of Fuji's power comes from his swordsmanship. Because his gravity is useless against Logia admirals as well if he can't coat it in Haki.
It is also possible Fujitora is weaker than we think he is and is actually a low top tier.
