She is such a joy! She’s so easy going and happy. I am clearly praying that she stays this way and I am not overwhelmed with the terrible twos. I also realize it’s important to be in the present because she’s already growing up so fast!

Ah I'm very glad to hear that! Sounds like she's gone on you then? Aye, its such a fleeting moment in our lives how fast they grow up and you only get to see then like this once ofc! Let's hope you are lucky when the dreaded 2nd year comes anyway!

I did start playing Super Mario RPG but I am making slow progress. I also play old school runescape!

Ah nice! I'm buying a Switch next month for some other games including paper Mario origami king but I'd like to try super Mario rpg too!

I remember seeing my friends constantly on runescape on the school PCs too that's nostalgic lmao.

I thought you had a switch. I highly recommend Super Mario RPG! I also like OSRS because I can easily step away from it.

Nah not yet! Aiming to get one next month finally as the Another Code remake is coming out, the remake of both games at that, some of my favourite games ever so im extremely excited for that along with the Baten Kaitos remaster, another massive favourite of mine! Ah thats fair, so its not so addictive like other MMO games then? Or its just easier to pick back up and not have to commit to anyway?

Super Mario RPG has a great soundtrack! I think OSRS is addicting but there are some tasks that you can do afk, which is helpful when I need to tend to my baby.

I also love the quests in osrs because the dialogue is hysterical!

Ah yeah, Nintendo games almost always have excellent soundtracks if not always too! Didnt Square Enix make Super Mario RPG too? That would make the OST even better ofc?! Ah thats good, being able to do stuff whilst AFK is AWESOME, like idling games and such, which is perfect for busy people/parents like yourself ofc!
Oh really? I remember Runescape being funny back in the day so I can definitely believe that too!

OS RS had a really nice vibe/atmosphere to it, quite charming/humble/nostalgic etc. I rather play that anyday over modern/recent MMOs that are WAY TOO BIG, convoluted/complex and just extreme time sinks and so tryhard! MMOs should be light hearted and fun! Ive tried a few a VERY long time ago, one was like a chibi third person shooter with water guns in a Japanese theme park kind of thing, Ive not been able to find

it again now after wanting to after all these years sadly, another was Dynasty Warriors Online which I really liked at the time and yet I didnt know anything about DW but I got into DW via DW8XL much later and absolutely loved it too! (Sadly it keeps crashing on my current PC and its making it VERY difficult to play now).

There was another one I wanted to try, a GORGEOUS Chinese/"Wuxia" type MMORPG called

Jade Dynasty I think? There was also Rusty Hearts which was another interesting one I tried too a very long time ago. Wanderlust too....Not sure if these names resonate with you or not but there a lot of very interesting MMOs out there ofc, but I dont have the patience nor energy to pick any up now too, I struggle with trying anything new these days, even much smaller/simpler things!
