Her character / potential in the story. IMO, Bonney has a lot of importance. Akainu was worried about her. She has ties to Kuma / possibly Ace or Whitebeard. She has a broken DF. And I like the limited personality we got from her.

I think if Oda truly wants to write a respectable female character both power level wise and story telling wise, Bonney is the one to do it. Sure Nico Robin's backstory is amazing and Enies Lobby was great, her character is basically non existent now. There is really no other compelling character besides Bonney imo who has great potential

She also has bunch of sub plots going with Akainu, Blackbeard, Kuma etc so I Oda has potential to hit a gold mine but knowing its Oda, he ain't bout to give any real development to any character besides Luffy and to a certain degree Zoro.
