It’s just one of the weaker arcs of the series, at least in my opinion. For our first entry into the New World, it definitely set up several things (allying with Law, meeting Kin’emon/Momo, the SMILE shit) that have set up the second half of the story, but I’m not sure to what effect. Also rubbed me the wrong way how Franky was totally MIA for the last half...

I'm surprised cause I really enjoyed it. Monet and Vergo were cool and inviting villains. Caesar was a piece of shit. Law was awesome and the way he ended Vergo was nice.
