Tbf those two moments with Shiryou which inevitably compares SBS and Houken wasn't just a coincidence. Hara knew what he was doing.

I think to an extent Shiryou was just surprised by Shibashou. With Houken, she immediately figured out who he was because she knew a lot about Houken of the 3GH, and so there was no hesitation because there was no surprise.
With Shibashou, she wasn’t expecting to see this giant appear out of nowhere and knew very little of Shibashou to begin with lol. So it was probably more surprise than outright fear against SBS.

Houken is a weeeird character to scale when it comes to 1v1 duels.
The trembling thing itself might or might not mean anything - for example Bayou Moubu trembled by seeing Houken, Shiryou didn't tremble seeing him. Lol.
