I always hated his character and what Oda did to him, just liked his design but the Kaido wank is too much. Some people unironically are only fans of him because he is ''strong''. Meh.
Akainu is way better in that regard, he's strong and has actual depth to him.

Kaido ain’t dead. I’m mentally prepared for his unbearable ass to return as a Nika fan.
Kaido’s intro in 795 is still to this day the best character introduction in…manga. Period.
It’s just a shame Oda utterly mangled everything that came after. He was complete garbage who was hyped for 10 years and didn’t live up to .01% of that hype.

Yeah I wanted a blood knight type of character but instead we got a complete mess of a personality that makes no sense and just goes everywhere at once. Oda also kept everything pretty surface level so there is no real depth to his philosophy or methods. In Dressrossa Doffy was present through the arc whereas Kaido was delegated to secondary villain in his own arc in favor of Orochi and we only started getting
