I think I mentioned this a bit when we talked about Lies of P. I played it at launch right until the 2 hour steam refund limit and then refunded it. Game caused a memory leak and almost bricked my PC. I’ve heard it’s gotten a lot better performance wise but hear pretty mixed things about the game overall

Yeah the game has a dual world mechanic where there’s two overlapping realms umbral and axiom. Sounds cool until you learn that enemies in Umbral endlessly respawn. Imagine trying to explore an interconnected environment while getting endlessly ganked.

Could tell umbral sucked ass just based on my limited time playing. Cant really comment about the enemy placement in axiom but I’ve seen memes about dog spam lol

Yep I did play Wo Long. Played the three DLCs over the holidays. “Mediocre game with a few great bosses” is an apt description. The last boss of the final dlc Yuan Shu is one of the worst bosses I’ve fought in any video game tho lol

Team Ninja DLCs definitely aren’t great overall. Didn’t even bother with the Nioh 1 DLC because apparently it’s scaled to NG+ and I didn’t want to beat the whole game again

I think the LoP DLC is going to be great/amazing honestly, I think Neowiz is shamelessly copying FromSoft in a lot of ways which is a good thing imo

out of the list, maybe i'll check out the Nioh and Wo Long, but only if i really love Nioh 1&2. I think you recommended skipping straight to Nioh 2

I actually really hope Lies of P dlc copies Fromsoft dlc formula.

This is what I'd like:
An area with a focus on puppet enemies
An area with a focus on stalker enemies/large humans like Laxasia
An area with a focus on alchemist/carcass enemies.

A boss in each, and then a fourth secret dragon boss or a boss that will hint at the Dorothy sequel.

probably will be overshadowed by Elden Ring dlc but i'm sure LoP DLC will be great. Current Neowiz seems competent and listened to feedback
