Shin is a good fight to display Shibashou’s strength. Like @Elder Lee Hung said Ouhon fights tend to be short and intense because Hon sama always goes for the kill.

@SakazOuki i think Kansaro would do better in a 1v1 against Ouhon than Bananji did. Kansaro seems smarter in a fight imo. Definitely not one or two shot material.

Kansaro is definitely strong but neither he, nor Jiaga are on the same martial level as any of the martially focused Heavenly Kings imo

So for a fact, the scaling is Bananji =< Gyou’Un ~ Jyoukaryuu < Jiaga.

Jyoukaryuu resorted to ganging up on Shin quickly after the duel started, right? And I recall him getting knocked off his horse eventually.
Shin takes awhile to get into a zone and can be thrashed by quite a few fighters.
Jyoukaryuu has some nice martial feats but his overall hype and portrayal isn't it.
