That is not how it works lol. Sasuke had sharingan to see through tiny bombs + counter to them due to lightning element. Sasuke didn't had cursed mark buff against Killer Bee and bee being a jinchuriki had counter to genjutsu. Kisame has perfect ability to go against biju's also. Kisame getting negged by diedara's bombs.

Kisame can keep up with Bee, who was blitzing Sasuke. He’s not getting blitzed by Deidara lol. C4 is Deidara’s only hope, but that’ll be useless if Kisame uses his massive water dome. Kisame could heal from having his entire midsection caved in. Even if Deidara does land a hit, it’s not putting Kisame down. Kisame’s water sharks can also consume chakra, so they may even defuse Deidara’s bombs

Kisame has that massive water shark he used against Hirudora, which should be able to match C3 and maybe even defuse it due to its chakra sucking properties. If Kisame uses his water dome, C4 will be ineffective since the water will make it harder for the nano bombs to be propelled far, and Deidara may able be stuck in its radius. He’s not immune to his own explosions.

Kisame’s water shark was relative to Hirudora, which can create a similar sized explosion to C3. Also, there’s no reason why Kisame couldn’t just throw even more water sharks at it given his Bijuu level chakra reserves. And as I said, the water shark can suck out the chakra from C3 and therefore either defuse it entirely or massively weaken it. It’s also a slow moving attack, so Kisame would try to get away from it
