Shi Ei really is underrated from @MarineHQ ’s propaganda campaign. Literally the first time I read Ouhon vs Bananji there was not a doubt in my mind that Shi Ei would have killed Bananji. And literally his feat of killing 3 Fire Dragons is just insane. These guys were outright said in the manga to have battled the Qin 6 and the Zhao 3.

i always headcannoned the 3 Fire Dragons killed by Earl Shi as being around onpar with the Juuko boys as commanders.

I have the Fire Dragons slightly above the Juukou gang. But even if they were Juukou gang level, killing 3 of them is an absurd feat.
And he looks like a straight monster. Maybe Bananji ish level. Second best Fire Dragon in terms of brute strength; maybe the third best warrior overall.
