I could see Mihawk, Croc, and Kata having good chemistry. Kata fits in better than Doffy would tbh. Cross Guild needs to start collecting Road Poneglyphs quickly if Oda wants them to be serious competitors for the other Yonko crews. The WCI RP is the only RP they should have any clue about as of now, so logically it should be the one they go after first.

He does fit better than Doffy, Doffy and Croc are too similar and have massive egos both. And I also feel like Doffy overshadows Crocodile too much. Kat is kind of in his own lane as an individual.

They could try waging a costly war against the BMP remnants to steal it, but I think Buggy would go for a more diplomatic approach first. WCI is more vulnerable than ever with BM and a large chunk of the crew gone. They literally just got raided by the BBPs and couldn't do a thing about it.
