CineraThe Hyouzou scene if you take it at face value suggests a substantial gap in attack speed as Zoro didn't just blitz Hyouzou, he destroyed all 8 of his swords before the latter could react. The implied gap in attack speed there is massive. I'm not claiming that Zoro's attack speed is vastly above G2, but it is a point to keep in mind if you're taking the scene at face value.
HeroesNZIt's cos the attack Luffy used was a Jet Pistol on three characters simultaneously. Therefore it's not a direct enough comparison to outright state that Zoro has overall faster attack speed than G2, as Hyouzou may not have been able to react had Luffy aimed for him alone. So I prefer to just say Zoro's comparable to G2. Also due to the fact that their speeds can vary from attack to attack.
HeroesNZAs for Sanji, truthfully I just couldn't be bothered to specify who has the faster attack speed lol - I just wanted to dispel any illusion that Zoro was slow.
Off the top of my head I can't remember any speed feats from Sanji that could put him on par with/above G2 so Zoro would have faster attack speed for now, however, the RS boosts Sanji's speed so I'd be interested to see how fast he is with that.
CineraFair enough. I'd be inclined to give RS Sanji the benefit of the doubt, but considering that (as far as we know at least) Zoro's power up doesn't boost his speed (unlike G2, Snakeman and the Raid Suit) his base attack and reaction speed should already be crazy high if he's going to be above Sanji and somewhat close to Luffy in overall combat ability.
CineraRegarding the Hyouzou scene, I think Zoro's speed is still greater. Yes, Hyouzou may not have been able to react if Luffy had attacked him directly, but Zoro destroyed all his swords before the latter could react. That's still such a huge gap over Hyouzou reacting to an attack that's say 3 times slower (if even that), that I see no way one can interpret the scene as saying Zoro is comparable.
CineraHyouzou didn't even realise Zoro had destroyed his swords and was left confused, that's such an insane level of blitz that no amount of benefit of the doubt on Jet Pisstol being slower would justify placing Zoro's attack speed merely on par with Luffy's (Zoro didn't use a named attack for the blitz either).
CineraIn short, I think the Hyouzou scene can be interpreted to say: "Hyouzou may have been unable to block a Jet Pistol aimed at him alone". I don't think it can be interpreted to say: "Zoro demonstrated comparable attack speed to G2".
CineraRegarding Zoro vs Sanji directly, when Sanji used Blue Walk Usopp compared his speed to a fishman (and Usopp is prone to hyperbole), but when Zoro blitzed Hody (one of the stronger (and probably faster) fishmen Hody's subordinates (who should be more informed on fishmen's ability) questioned how Zoro could be faster than a fishman.
CineraZoro blitzing one of the strongest fishmen underwater while Sanji was merely comparable to one (and perhaps with some exaggeration) speaks to Zoro's favour IMO.
HeroesNZPerhaps. But regardless of how you interpret the scene, one instance of superior speed at the start of the timeskip isn't enough for me to definitively say that Zoro still has superior attack speed than a current G2 Luffy who has since fought and defeated various YC level opponents, one of which (Doflamingo) even noted his speed.
