No...not exactly...edgy/demonic are just a few instances but overall G5 essence created by Oda was kept intact in TOEI...in manga too, there are some instances G5 looked edgy like when Luffy holding and throwing lightening against Kaido, like when Luffy stomping Kizaru clones, when hitting Kizaru with WSG, or when he is holding Kizaru and Saturn with two hands....
