The writing regarding both Higuruma and Todo was so bad. Sukuna would be dead if they were utilized properly. That tool shit was dumb
On another note, I think Takaba and Higuruma versus Kenjaku would have been interesting

To be fair, I don't think the cast would know in advance that Sukuna wouldn't be able to use his domain after the fight with Gojo..
So having Todo stay out as a precaution does make sense (I am trying my best to justify it)

I honestly think Gege had no plans to reintroduce Todo or Miguel but just did so to extend the Sukuna fight
