Diamond was phenomenal. Really tested Islam. Feel bad for the guy though, would love to see him hold that belt before he retired.

Dustin really learned a lot after the Khabib fight. i thought islam would make him tap in round 1.

@Alpha Nahh its cool, man. Its just a belt. Dustin is hall of fame material imo. One of the best light weights to ever grace the octagon. The likes of Pettis and Rda had belts, but they were inferior fighters. Dustin still a legend.

@NAMELESS no doubt about that. Dudes a class act plus he already cemented himself as a legend of the sport but in his post fight interview, he did say he has checked all the boxes in the game except one ; Winning the championship. He's got money, satisfied his thrill to fight, but if he could just get that belt, he would be content with his run. Still a legend no doubt.

Speaking of Pettis and RDA, seeing tony Ferguson go down after that crazy streak and never getting a fight with McGregor still hurts.

@Alpha yeah,i think Dustin best chance was koing Charles. Dustin would be champ if he was into another generation. Beating Islam and Khabib seems like an herculean task. Dagestani bros are like a final boss in a dark souls no death run.

@Alpha Connor was such a let down. He could have been such a better fighter if he kept hungry and focused on the sport. Fergunson started too late, didn't work on his fundamentals and did a lot of stupid decisions in his career.

Oliveira's run to champion is also one of the best stories in mma comeback. Dude really poured heart n soul in his art.

oh yeah, Charles could barely strike in his early ufc days. I would love to see him rematch Islam.
