What if Imu is also affected by a curse, like the curse of the sea, but instead for Imu it's the sun/the daylight and not the sea that weakens him. Could be a proper reason to curse the sun god imo. Would also explain why such a powerful being like Imu hides away in the Holy Land... and not...
