Technically Sanji did block Nusjuro's attack, but the implications make it seem like he blocked the direct attack from the sword, when in actuality he hit the face of the blade, making that way less impressive than it sounds.
The Final villian imo is between Imu, the god of the world, your potential sea god, or a third candidate, the real moon god. BB may, MAY be the false moon god, but a false one, and serves as a red herring.
That's not foreshadowing to Luffy being Nika, but serves as symbolism to Luffy being the hero of many people, and may later become the hero of the world. The sun has served as symbolism for many characters throughout fiction. Doesn't mean they'll be revealed to be gods, but rather that they'll...
It's easy to retroactively add details to tie previously seemingly unimportant story elements back into the forefront. The problem is that by itself, without later details being added much later, there's no way to use anything in Skypiea as evidence to support the idea of Nika of being a thing.
I don't see how the writing suddenly improves if Sanji stops being a hypetool. There are more problems with him than that little inconvenience, and there are even bigger problems with One Piece as a whole. Sanji becoming jobberless isn't going to miraculously change things for the better...
I think most people are reading it primarily because of the sunk cost fallacy, the mystery bait, lore dump, and the agendas, while others simply want to see their favorite characters' journey to the end. The plot is pretty much an afterthought.
I honestly don't think the Marines have done much good as a whole. There are a few, and I mean A FEW, good actors in the Marines, but as a whole they are way more evil than good. You can't be supporting genocides in islands that are not allies, tax those that are so heavily that they become...
How will Zoro and Franky's statements serve any purpose in the plot, especially as the opportune time has past. At best they can only serve as an afterthought of either a flashback, or reason why they didn't attempt to fulfill their declarations, but either way their plot point will be less than...
But you haven't even explained how that correlates to how it's rated. Simply conjecture without evidence. Many things have been popular and sold extremely well under falsehoods and even solely faith in an unproven product. So no. Such a statement still doesn't suffice.
And even then, your quote...
"Let the sales speak and you will find your answer there."
This is your quote where you indicate sales = ratings. So not exactly popularity, but even then sale numbers alone doesn't tell the whole story of how something is rated as they don't explain why One Piece sold so well, but rather it...
Prove why popularity = rating, which you still haven't done. Don't try to spin the burden on proof on me as you're the one that has the positive claim to prove to be true, not me.
The burden of proof is on you to prove how sale numbers correlate to how One Piece is rated as popularity alone doesn't explain why One Piece is rated as it is. Just saying something is popular doesn't even explain why it is popular. You're just using circular reasoning, which isn't apt to...
