Fantastic thread, you really nailed it! This is one of the fights on Onigashima I'm very interested in, because (as you said) it's not about physical strength, but using the brain and making tactical moves to strike first. Hopefully, Oda won't offscreen it, even though Hawkins and Killer final...
I think that it means he can teleport himself in place of each raindrop, so basically everywhere
Btw a wonderful episode, if the quality of Onigashima is the same as this episode, then rooftop... :chopoff::lunazing:
If she's down for good, then I'm quite disappointed, I really wanted a tactical fight like Nami vs Kalifa. Page One will get up 100%, so we may be getting a fight between the two SHs and the Tobi Roppo brothers. But this time let Nami do the most, not Zeus
So now that Nami's thunder attacks will always hit the target(s) and they're comparable to BM's, can we say that she's definitely part of the new Monster trio? :happinesspunch:
Kanjuro should be dead, that's what the title of the chapter suggests. A bit disappointed because his fruit was fascinating, really wished to see more of its usage.
Kiku most likely dead, as she talked about the dawn that she'll witness even in the afterlife.
Kinemon... I mean, his death has to...
The moment Luffy fell into the sea, Momo started having headaches, as when Zunisha talked to him. At first I thought Luffy was going to be saved by Law's crew in the submarine, but something big is coming to bring him onto Onigashima ... Sea kings? Zunisha? Everything is possible at this point...
Brook and Robin are my two most favourite SHs, so seeing them fighting together really makes me cheerful :amazing: and Black Maria's weapon and devil fruit are very intriguing, so less screen time to MC Luffy and more to them :endthis:
All I want is focused chapters. Like, Robin and Brook vs Black Maria for 3-4 chapters. Then Jimbei vs Who's Who for 3 chapters, and so on. I think it's way better than random glimpses of fights every 3 pages
I'd say Mother mode comes directly from BM's experience, not connected with Mother Carmel, a child seller who cared for children just to sell them. Big Mom wants to love all the kids she meets because Carmel taught her to be kind to everyone, even though she didn't mean it
