I'm just reading the arguments but: can you explain how Kizaru could have charred Luffy entire body if the attack was eaten? Because if the attack was eaten it should affect the internal organs which it did.
What exactly would you consider to be actual damage in this situation?
The part that I find weird is that the barrier is just kizarus lasers focused on a point.
Bragging that the barrier could kill luffy is the same as telling that kizaru could do the same.
Cultural differences. My grandpa/grandma called my sister a kid even after she had kids. He's just acting like a grandpa complaining that his granddaughter was being bullied.
I don't have a ink in this fight but he said SERIOUS ONE-ON-ONE FIGHT.
BM treated Kaido like a young sibling and even though they said they would fight or kill each other it was never serious for either of them. So it's entirely reasonable for Kaido to not take his fight with BM as a serious...
No.
He didn't have a proper character and some plot points about him were dropped. Basic example: he was considered the world's strongest creature. Even BM called Kaido a thing, and this reputation seemed based on something different than a basic humanoid (like Giant or Oni).
His personality...
Yamato was just a character created to sell merch and was never intended to be a SH.
Luffy offered a bundle deal to Yamato, Kinemon and Pedro and she declined offscreen to join.
There was a character that actually asked to join the strawhats in wano and got the YES (no buts, no if you give up...
Man, you ignore a couple of things:
A) the laser that all vegapunk inventions use and that "almost killed" Luffy is based on Kizaru's lasers. Try to do the math.
B) Luffy is immune to impact because of his fruit. You can kick him to the moon and back and without haki it will never hurt him and...
Good Morning!
To be honest, I don't think we were in actual disagreement about how to change ingrained patterns and the possibility of it. The only that we seemed to disagree is that, based on my experiences, I don't believe that people can change ingrained patterns without removing the...
Thanks, man. I will just address two points because I don't think morality discussions are eligible to be made in here.
I totally agree with you. She is 100% responsible for her choices. I just disagree with this :
One of the prejudices that took a long time for me to lose in my job was...
Not a white knight but I like the character so I will try to address your points:
She never learned about what Caramel did. It was a secret to everyone and one of the reasons why she was considered a great woman and was able to get a supply of kids. To BM Carmel was a mother figure that...
Nah.
Things need to get really bad before it gets better and it still is not even close to the climax. Otherwise the win would feel cheap and takes much of the tension of the next arcs. Outside of wano, Oda is a good writer so he will create more tension.
To me he's boring. I actually enjoy the other Vegapunks way more. The original seem lacking.
To be honest, the others already proved that they are as smart as him so he being killed is no big deal and would be actually a surprise.
Kizaru:
Supernovas are scary!!! :saden:
Oh, Whitearbeard commanders are so powerful!! :saden:
Oh, Ben Beckman! I will stay still, you're so scary!!! :saden:
Oh, Mugiwara! You're so strong!!! :saden:
Results:
Supernova: Kicked their asses
Commanders: Defeated with no sweat
Ben beckman...
Good Morning.
After reading the chapter properly, those are my thoughts:
A) Kizaru vs Luffy initial clash was no big deal. Neither was going all out and Kizaru was using his troll face. This chapter is basically the initial clash to justify the use of G5. The issue here is that in the...
Marineford is basically what Wano wanted to be but way better. The writing was fenomenal, almost every chapter from ID to the end of the war was full of hype and it actually had plenty of unexpected moments.
Wano tries to be MF but is unable to even get close. The hype moments are shit tier...
Kata and doffly deserve it for different reasons:
My personal theory about CoC is that everyone that has it (except a single one that was a mistake) will choose death before betraying what they hold dear, they have a will to fight against the heavens for what they believe. You can do the Yamato...
