You're all looking too deep into this, it's just a small fight that will end when the SHs have to escape. The pacifistas won't turn anymore, a bunch of VAs are there, Saturn is probably fairly strong himself and Luffy has run out of G5 for the moment with Kizaru almost certainly not defeated...

To me the worst one was the Water Temple, just pretty underwhelming all around. Construct factory at least had some good puzzles that utilized the building mechanics.

Kizaru's ties to Vegapunk and Sentomaru are meant to give his character more depth and humanize him, but he is still prepared to give everything to complete is mission, that's why he's an admiral. He bypasses Luffy not out of disrespect or fear, but because he knows every second he fights with...

Lucci is just a great example that even defeated antagonists can keep up and grow stronger. Kinda sets us up for Crocodile to have a similar glow up i reckon.

8 episodes a season for a story that changes major setting so often just isn't practical. If a season 2 does happen i can't imagine it going beyond Drum Island considering they haven't even adapted Loguetown yet. I appreciate it for what it is but it really just feels like a novelty for already...
