Slashes ain't a fighting style, Brook uses slashes too. Zoro's thing's Santoryu. Rankyaku'd fit him perfectly but looks like Oda ain't interested in givin him that.
Ranged blunt attacks are a thing in OP a/w, remember Elizabello's punch. Maybe Sanji could kick the air or smth.
They're hyped by the speed of light thing and he's fighting traits that fit both Zoro and Sanji's way of fighting. He's also the only OG admiral left.
Things really depend on what Oda's gonna do with Fuji. If he sticks with the WG until the end then he's Zoro's fight, o/w Kizaru's Zoro's fight...

Think that's just symbolism. He thought his family issues were behind him then realizes he's still in deep shit. The burn out cigarette represents the fake "quietness"/resolution, the fire is the realization it's still a big issue he has to deal with.
"World" and "world building" are two different things imo. The world's abt the setting whereas the world building's abt the specifics, rules and limitations that make the world feel organic. To me, OP world's great when it comes to its unique setting, which is smth Oda excels at, but falls short...
Pretty much. There's no other reason for this, he's not useful in the story in any way (he's still cool though). Oda should try to do more with him, besides showing he's to Lucci what Zoro is to Luffy.
I thought it was his body goin into survival mode and activatin the exo automatically when he's in danger, because it got triggered when Queen almost killed him.
