The way I define it is characters being way oversold. King doesn't need to be oversold to be put over characters like Katakuri.

King dog walks katakuri but I don't see lies in his post. If anything it's a good thing that king isn't wanked to hell and back imo. His feats and portrayal are on panel and can't be argued against while other characters have to rely on fictitious wank to look good.

Beckman might be more wanked with statements about his strength not being far off from shanks floating around out there. Considering shanks is one of the most heavily wanked characters himself, it shouldn't come as a surprise.
