It would’ve been cool maybe but a big reason Zoro’s moment was so iconic is because he was alone. Suffering unimaginable pain for the sake of his crew. Only he knows the true extent of what Luffy has to deal with every time he fights for them. That’s special.

He would survive due to plot armor. Without it he would die since he already took the most damage and fatigue out of anyone on Thriller Bark besides Luffy himself.

I love Smoker. He’s definitely gonna be stronger than he was on Punk Hazard the next time we see him so this could be interesting
