Because not every clash results in a sky split. Roger/WB didn’t do it on screen either. It’s likely influenced by the cloud formations during the fight.

If we include outside events as part of the arc (BB, Cross Guild ect) then I could easily see it ending at around ch 1200. I think there is still some plot threads to be covered on Elbaph outside the Holy Knights shit.
@Bullet Have hope for this next war arc. Call it cope but I think Hara went on a speedrun since Gian arc simply due to the nature of these wars not being very important in the grand scheme of the unification. I can't imagine knowing you'd have to write two war arcs where they lose back to back...
