If we look on the surface level – yes.
But is he truly happy deep down? I would say no for now. Was he content with his life all these years? His resentment towards Shanks and his poor self image (no person with a normal self image craves so much attention) are holding him back. But I feel like...
Actually it's quite an interesting path story can take. CG is all about connections, it's true. Buggy connection, Moria connection, Croc's interest in Pluton...a lot of coincidences.
Yamato doing terrible things on behalf of CG consciously is not that necessary. And CG getting information they...
I can't judge properly cause I didn't watch it as a whole, checked out some parts and read articles/opinions on reddit.
Obviously, it's impossible to adapt OP in live action format without cutting it drastically, but the fact they cut out Chouchou's story, Gaimon, Jango, Jhonny and Yosaku...
OP isn't as popular in my country as Naruto so I've never saw it on TV as a kid. But I knew about OP existence and tried to watch it in my early teens, but didn't like it.
Couple years ago I was preparing for an exam. Decided to procrastinate and opened youtube. I laid my eyes upon one piece...
Watched SpongeBob a lot when I was a kid. Recently got hooked on a channel where a guy rants about current SpongeBob and compares it with classic SpongeBob. He made me want to rewatch seasons 1-3.
Good chapter.
Final page is great, Oda unleashed his inner Dante/Shakespeare. Lore fans and theory crafters are feasting. I hope they're ready to live on lore from this chapter for another year. The serpent on mural is cute.
— A devious smile crossed my face when I read that Shanks went to Mari...
I feel like Oda thinks that by not showing Mihawk's abilities properly he keeps readers more interested in Zoro's dream and Mihawk himself. He wants Mihawk to have an aura of mystery. But manga is too long and Mihawk doing nothing particularly interesting since his first appearance feels...
I was 99% certain Shanks has a twin. Still felt a little bit disappointed after reveal. Honestly, the chance of Oda doing something interesting with this whole thing is quite small. But I can't judge properly since we didn't see much of Shamrock, who knows, maybe he ends up as a decent character...
It can still be Shanks which means Oda is playing 4D chess lmao. Idk what's going on in this manga anymore. Regarding his hair, during the talk with Gorosei we can only see bangs and Shamrock has the same bangs.
Some people say it can still be Shanks cause 1) Shamrock wouldn't wear a cloak to...
I'm just being hopeful and a little bit naive, I guess. There's a much bigger chance that he ends up as not that interesting of a character. However, I don't think the only way to give Shanks depth is the way you described it. We didn't really see him that much and we don't know his true...
Sorry, I edited my reply, I didn't understand your answer properly.
I mean we just can't tell for sure that he didn't plan the twin. But knowing Oda it's entirely possible that he didn't, he's shit at planing out. So there's a big chance you're right and Oda just chickened out.
LMAO fair enough, but on the other hand Oda can try to contrast Shamrock and Shanks so Shanks looks even better as a person tho technically we already have a terrible brother figure of Shanks who's worse than him in every aspect and is literally a clown.
Edit: ahh hell nah I didn't understand...
I started to prepare myself for the possible future mess the moment we got info about Shanks being Figarland. I'm, perhaps, too ready for this thing to be clusterfuck...but, hey, there is hope since it's Shanks and Oda cares about him so maybe he did think things trough.
