    They can still be the heroes by defeating the one who is actively turning the giants into demons--IMU--without having to defeat every single threat. There's room for the SHs and the giants to shine before L&L come in for the big finale.

    It's not going to happen, but it would be a refreshing idea to have someone on the good guys' side not only defeat the antagonist and his minions, but eat them to boot. It sure would make OP feel less predicable and more exciting.
