Nah. lol
I just really don’t see how Oda can have Yamato say all that just to momentarily appear on some
fleet for Luffy, especially after what he did with Jinbe and what he’s doing with Vivi even.
I think it will take Yamato having to announce she’ll never sail with Luffy to get me to accept...
Yeah, because Momo doesn't want her to stay in Wano forever due to his defense failures. So unless Yamato is going to end up as some guard dog slave for the rest of her life, Momo will power up so that Yamato can sails like she always wanted to.
I could see Yamato eventually having to admit that she doesn’t think he’s strong enough to be a defender due to his failure with the Admiral, which would would his pride, like Zoro said.
That would def push him to prove himself and power up from there. Oda powered up Koby and Tama rather quick...
Yamato has good use of Conqueror’s that will be very helpful to the crew against the Holy Knights, Five Elders, and other Imu black magic demons.
To just have her on 911 Fleet Dispatch is too unreliable, since the Fleet won’t always be at the center of the most crucial actions, since the Straw...

Chinjao is the one with Conqueror’s Haki though, and if Gaban couldn’t completely bypass the black magic immortality Sommers has, then I’m not sure what problems Chinjao would run into.
And Sai who doesn’t seem experienced with Conqueror’s at all, not even sure how he’d fare against the Holy...
In light of Gaban’s explanation of needing to be keen on Conqueror’s Haki against the Holy Knights, it seems apparent to me that Conqueror’s Haki will be given a boost with the Straw Hats in order to affectively handle them, the Five Elders, Imu, and whatever other regenerative demons Imu...
And Robin never had a big join my crew moment either. She basically forced herself to be in his company and convinced him to have her join after having no where else to go. Nami forced herself in Luffy's company too actually.
Well what does it matter if she invited herself first? Not every recruitment needs to be the same. Heck, Brook immediately said yes to Luffy asking him at first, and that's pretty different.

Vivi will def come back to solve the issue behind Lili's legacy. For Yamato, it would be...
