Had he used it against Lucci, he wouldnt have gotten stalled for half that time while the rest of his crew were struggling to keep Vegapunk alive.
And he had EVERY reason to bust it out from the gate against a member of the Gorosei.
Oda just thinks the way he drew the events were cooler...
It hurt expectations. Especially the Blocking Hakai bit. Oda made a bit of an oopsie even drawing that, even if it was only for a second and he broke his bones in the process.
You forgot Option 4. The Strongest titles do not mean:
You're more willing to accept Oda is full of shit than to just admit the obvious?
Loki was always stronger. Its pretty clear at this stage in the story that the titles are not definitive.
>Luffy is always in full zoan form.
>His G2-G4 are his hybrid forms.
>Gear 5 is his awakening form where he takes the full appearance of Nika.
>Yes, Gear 5 Luffy can use his G4 hybrid forms. And is apparently capable of partial transformations like Marco. Bajrang Gun is him using G4 in Gear 5.
I see your point. It seems this jarring considering IMU is stronger than we anticipated. But it doesn't bother me much personally because Luffy has always jumped huge tiers of power with his gears.
He did it with Gear 3 and 2 Pre timeskip.
Post timeskip, he jumped huge tiers of power with G4...
Making him stronger than PK tier is pushing him to God Tier. A bit too early for that if you actually want tension. There's barely any now that Luffy is on the same level as Admirals and Emperors lol.
It's seems obvious to me, Oda is using the drawback to compensate for how strong Luffy is now
Fellas stop setting up yourself for disappointment. Oda's doesn't stick to a strict consistency when it comes to powerlevels. And this isn't even a knock to his writing lol.
It was this way during pretimeskip too. One of the biggest examples being Ennies Lobby. They went from jobbing to Blueno...
The explanation will be as simple as he believes the food will make him that much stronger and it will.
Just a reminder, Luffy is gonna struggle for the win, so it's not like him defeating IMU means it will be easy.
I still believe the arc ends with both Loki and Luffy defeating IMU together...
Yeah, that's why I said his problem is not knowing what he's fully capable of.
All he's done is Gear 5 varients of moves he's done before tbh, which is fine for normal opponents, but won't be fine against IMU. He has to truly let go, but there's nobody present to tell him who Nika really was...
Just letting you know my friend, Luffy can actually beat IMU and even as an admiral fan, I hate to admit, he could have beat Kizaru too. Being strong enough was never the issue, it's the time limit and lack of understanding of his powers.
Luffy can reach any level of AP he desires to seemingly...
Oda is the one who caused the discourse himself with King lmao.
"Just because I weild a sword, doesnt make me a swordsman"
Zoro: "True, you didnt claim to be a swordsman"
He got his title from the world hyping him up for having skill that surpassed even Shanks at the time. But:
- Mihawk has never fought Roger or Rocks.
- Mihawk has never fought Oden.
- Mihawk has never fought IMU.
- Mihawk had never fought Vista. Vista's skill was so formidable when he actually...
Out of most shonen protagonists ive seen over the years. Luffy definitely suffers the worst due to the drawbacks thing that I've seen seen. The only one that comes close is Deku and One for All at the beginning of MHA.
Normally i disappear from this forum after today. But I am joining you on your crusade against these fuckers. Let the consistency begin.
We're in this until the end.
According to @HerreraIsBack, Zoro and Sanji is irrelevant to the conversation and bringing up what happened to them as reference is slandering them for the sake of making Loki look better.
