His training was about strengthening hardening. Most of the top tiers main CoC infusion and you can't train that lmao. CoC and Armanment are two seperate applications of Haki.

Assuming IMU's powers are a result of a Devil Fruit ability, you most likely can delay the regeneration effect using CoC. Just like in egghead where JoyBoy's Haki temporarily halted the gorosei's powers and reversed the summoning.
