Since his last appearance in Chapter 1052, Drake has been sprinkled into recent chapters such as 1080 and now 1100. I wonder when we'll see him again.... And yet the status is still unknown. Interesting.
@Zemmi It’s so disgusting. I’ve lived here all my life and when I hear stuff like this, I just can’t understand it. I don’t even want to think about how long the land’ll take to recover and the people that have lost their homes as well.
I don’t even—I honestly don’t even know what to say to that—for someone to just start a fire??? FOR WHAT??? Just nonsense that claimed our forests / animal habitats and peoples homes / livelihood. That’s beyond messed up man damnit. I’m glad that the one by your house was contained though. A...
A couple more episodes and Wano is coming to a close, huh? It’s hard to say how many more, but its been cool seeing the manga come to life in the form of the anime.
I’m sorry to hear that as a fellow Louisiana resident. For your sake and everyone else whom the fire hasn’t touched, I hope we get more rain soon. As for those who have been affected, I hope the loss of life was minimal and the survivors are given as much help as can possibly be given in their...
X Drake is Top for me, but I've got a bunch of favs from One Piece in no particular order:
X Drake
Zoro
Katakuri
Smoker
Law
Crocodile
Doflamingo
Mihawk
Oden
Kid
"Bohemian Knight" Doma
Shanks
Yamato
No mention of Drake or Smoker in those small spoilers huh….. Ah well, I guess I will wait on the Chapter once again this week. Oda’s treatment of Drake is so strange and Smoker still being absent is also strange. Damn.
If this doesn’t happen now that you’ve put this in my head, I’m going to be so disappointed. This feels like a stellar opportunity for Drake to return tbh to save his subordinates (and with SMOKER IN TOW?? and others???). MAN. I wish.
Oh man this was excellent!
Nice to see that there’s still some hope for Drake among those few of us that actually like him.
… And I really feel like Drake was tossed in their in the tiny scene with Kuzan explaining about SWORD just to say that Drake still had a part to play—that he’s not...
So, Kid and Law are defeated. Smoker may be on his own sort of mission at this point… and no sign of Drake despite all that’s going down with his fellow Sword members… which is known to the Upper Echelons of the Marines at least?? - well, former, in Kuzan’s case apparently. And Law is separated...
At this point, I think Oda has some inkling over how he has written Drake and how it looks; it could be intentional and he has something planned—it’s possible—we just have to wait and see when he does eventually return to the spotlight.
Well, there goes the hope of seeing Drake this chapter…
That aside, this chapter sounds pretty interesting, so I’m a bit excited to read the actual Viz translation when it eventually .
For me, it’s gonna be Drake. I liked his design from the beginning and his intro was cool. He has, however, been done the dirtiest of the Worst Generation sadly, but I still have hope for his eventual return with a better showing in tow.
Next would be Capone. He’s pretty cool and good to his...
With the opening notification, I really had hoped it wasn’t going to head where I thought it was, and I know there’s nothing to be done, but this is still incredibly sad and depressing to hear.
I didn’t know them well, but I hope they are resting peacefully even though suicide shouldn’t have...
@sanji>Lollo I’m not sure if this was a serious answer, BUT: that’s pretty steep considering all Kizaru’s abilities and based on Drake’s character, he wouldn’t. Similar speed would allow him to keep up with Kizaru, but that then begs the question: would his armament haki be enough to put him...
