But Shakky isn’t the focus of God Valley
God Valley is really about the fall of Rocks
This isn’t like Marineford where Ace is the center of attention and the entire story revolves around his escape
Shakky may be the reason why people gathered but everything that followed has little to do...
I’m surprised people are that bothered by it
If God Valley was exclusively about Shakky then I’d understand
But with all the things surrounding it (Davy Clan, Rocks’ fall, Shanks and Shamrock’s place of birth, Teach, young Dragon potentially turning against the Navy, the unknown treasures...
Zoro fighting Garling instead of Nusjuro would be a crazy misdirect especially since it’s been one of the most obvious matchups for like 20-30 years (Shodai Kitetsu connection)
But then people also said Zoro would get Nidai in Wano and that sword was used in like 3 panels (by Luffy) before...
I really do hope we see most if not all of God Valley from Dragon’s perspective
Would be an interesting parallel for Luffy’s experience in Marineford
Koby too
Ready to face Mihawk? No shot
But I do think he’ll go from losing to old Rayleigh/Gaban to beating them extreme diff post Elbaf
Based on Gaban’s dialogue it seems like ACoC can’t be “properly” used until you’ve acknowledged and tamed it
I don’t see why Zoro shouldn’t be stronger after...
When Mihawk fights someone you’ll realize that he fails to cut like everyone else (or cut deep anyway)
It’s Oda’s go-to even if someone has an especially lethal fighting style
He replaces their weapons and attacks with whoopee cushions that do damage but it’s never lethal
At most he’ll...
He says the chapter is insane
God Valley probably actually starts
That or we get another reveal
No way Ndule of all people would say that if the chapter ends with the major players arriving
He’s always very critical of Oda’s pacing but he legitimately believes it’s a wild chapter
I really do enjoy their dynamic
Big Mom wasn’t lying when she said she viewed Kaido as a little brother
She really treated him like one back in the day
The thing is iirc that isn’t even true
Hasn’t it been confirmed that the One Piece is Roger and Joyboy’s treasure
Pretty sure Roger left something there as well
I wonder if we'll see God Valley from Dragon's perspective (he was probably fodder relative to the heavy hitters)
It would be a really cool mirror of Luffy in Marineford
I could definitely see Oda doing that
I’m done predicting anything regarding God Valley tbh
The matchups are basically impossible to guess
Now we know Harald was there, Dragon was there with the goal of saving Shanks and Shamrock, Saturn was there but we don’t know what he did, Big Mom was looking for fruits so there’s a chance...
She would probably be more CD-like in terms of the way she’s treated if I had to guess
We know they’re not entirely against raising people’s status (Loki and Gunko) so maybe Garling wanted to do the same with who he viewed as the most beautiful woman alive
Wouldn’t be surprised honestly
So it’s not that he sent Teach and his mother there but that’s actually where the entire clan (or at least what’s left of it) resides
Very interesting
Teach may not be the only member of the clan left alive then
The thing about Usopp (and I get it but this has always kinda bothered me) is that while he's a great sniper he almost never does anything besides playing support
Which I guess is kind of the point given his role but like... damn
He contributed heavily in Dressrosa by playing support and he...
One person that’s always reliable when it comes to rating chapters is Scotch
If he says the chapter is crazy then there’s probably quite a bit that happens in it
