An issue with all of them is their lack of Curiosity about things like Haki. Usopp had the perfect opportunity to learn about Haki after Dressrosa if only he asked Zoro, Luffy, or even the Samurai about what he experienced in Dressrosa.

I do think he will, possibly even "Unlocking/Awakening" protecting Kuma and Bonney.

Or even a bit of time in Elbaf to learn the basics, then a couple months at sea adventuring and sailing.
