Ima be honest, I think a lot of this arc is not planned out aggressively. I won’t say it’s as bad as Toriyama Android Saga but the early inconsistencies with Knights of God regen seems like Oda didn’t have everything ironed out

2 3 2 I haven’t really been hooked on Elbaph the island yet, feels like there was no real exploration of the island. the knights of gods also do not get treated well, instead like shit, most of part 1. So no sense of danger or hype. flashback was serviceable and even good at times but...

I think the show will be better once they get to book/season 4 and further, where the movies were slimming down and simplifying the plot way too much. But the first few seasons maybe not. The trailers don’t make this out to be a magical entry into this world which imo is a big miss step
