There's still some important plot beats to hit. The location of the 4th Road Poneglyph. I think we also need an arc where the Blackbeard Pirates are the primary antagonists (Hachinosu arc)? Lodestar, and then Laugh Tale. Then massive final war arc. Given the amount of breaks Oda takes, I'd say...
Of Course luffy is now "Healed" by eating food. after being stabbed through the literal chest :seriously:God damn it Oda I thought maybe you might do something interesting with Luffy being out of commission, but I guess not.
In all seriousness, Luffy's needed a reality check ever since Wano. Dude's been laughing and jumping ever since he beat Kaido. It's time for him to lock in.
God damn Scopper Gaban roasted the shit out of Luffy lmao. Hopefully the Underworld looks badass, Gaban losing an arm was not what I was expecting though.
We finish this arc, how the Imu/Loki stuff ends I have no idea. However I think there needs to be a big arc against the Blackbeard Pirates. Then maybe Lodestar, then Laughtale/final war, then epilogue. Only question is we don't know where the fourth road poneglyph is. Is it on Elbaf? Does the...
At the pace Oda is pumping out chapters? No chance it ends in 3-5 years. There are still so many open-ended plot points that haven't even been touched on yet.
It's honestly just gotten to the point where I read the Spoiler thread, if it sounds interesting I'll read the chapter, if not, well I know the synopsis, and don't really bother with the actual chapter.
None, post timeskip arcs are way too long, focus too much on side characters instead of the Strawhats, and the hype moments don't hit the same. And nothing post timeskip touches this moment:
I've been reading OP weekly since Thriller Bark. And Post Timeskip just doesn't hold a candle to pre-timeskip OP. The world building was better, character development was better, arcs were paced very well, unlike the over bloated mess we get now. The fights were more creative/ like Oda put...
The 4Kids dub played a huge part. I was nine years old when I first watched it, and even I knew it was ass. Also Oda's artstyle isn't exactly the most appealing to look at, I mean Naruto, DBZ, Bleach are just cooler to watch. Also most in the west seem to prefer their shonen to be more actiony...
Just finished it, and yeah it was bad. I am not feeling Inaki Godoy. He's not how I pictured Luffy like at all. That "OF COURSE I WILL!" yell after helping nami was just straight cringe, it might have worked in the anime, but it does not in live action. The CGI is some of the worst I think I've...
