The only role of Zoro in the crew is to be strong, the warrior that defeats SH enemy.
Him not being able to defeat Lucci before the crew has to run away lead to Lucci giving intel to Mars -> the crew (and the world, because of Vegapunk message) is in danger now because of that.
He failed to...
Cover aside, those 3 are literally the only ones of the crew that Oda focus on (80% is about Nika anyways).
The others are sadly little more than side characters at this point.
WTF this even mean lmao:suresure:
Oda decided to put Zoro there for several chapters, he wasn't forced to do that.
I'm not talking about pacing, but narrative.
Zoro vs Lucci lasted a lot in the "One Piece world", that's a fact. And it doesn't make sense for Zoro to have taken so long to beat...

"Reality? 2 sword CoA Zoro playing around with Awakened Lucci"
If you want to believe that Zoro "played" with Lucci for 1h just for the fun, while his whole crew was in danger and they needed to hurry up, go on, I won't stop you.
It's clearly a biased take, but whatever.
I said that Zoro was obviously winning and then Jimbe stopped the fight. And that's not what I say, it's what Oda drew on the pages.
He would have won like 3 minutes later anyways, Lucci suffered that leopard whatever attack.
The difference is that against Nika, Lucci got unconscious after 3...
Don't trap yourself into a corner, most likely Lucci and Kaku will escape from Egghead and he'll look far better then, with bandages and all. Slashes are obviously more visible than blunt force damages.
Zoro is clearly stronger than Lucci, but Nika is clearly stronger than both of them it's not...
SH are in a hurry, so Jimbe took Zoro away even if the fight wasn't finished and told him "yeah, yeah, you won, sure, now let's go" because he know Zoro has that "warrior pride" and wouldn't have left that place until Lucci wasn't totally K.O.ed (that would have taken other time).
It's not so...
