I'm pretty blasé on One Piece right now. While I enjoyed the Rocks flashback a lot more than Oden and Kuma's story, the present day stuff just isn't super engaging and frankly, the Straw Hats are the least interesting part of the story. Cross Guild, SWORD, Blackbeard, they're all doing cooler...
It's a complicated question.
The idea of Straw Hats having rival crews of comparable bounties makes a lot of sense but the fact that Oda came up with them at the last second before Sabaody meant they weren't given much thought aside from a few (Law and Kid). Bonney isn't even a real pirate...
Kuzan alone would fodderize all of the Beast Pirates commanders like he did with the Blackbeard crew.
Buggy would come out of Marineford as the replacement Yonko for Kaido lmao
Just cut out the middleman and get EZ lightning powers from Big Mom's leftovers. No more Pokemon Trainer shit, I'm sure Sanji could cook an edible thunder cloud.
As much as I dunk on Kaido, his dragon design is much better looking than Loki who still looks like a silhouette monster.
Oda totally could draw an interesting western-style dragon but he dropped the ball with the Nidhoggr
If we get a One Piece fighting game, I REALLY hope it's not a tag fighter. There's an overabundance of that subgenre in fighting games these days. A One Piece fighting game should be 1v1 with unique character movesets/mechanics at the forefront.
I can't stop glazing One Piece Ambition, it's easily the best looking One Piece videogame but it's a mobile title exclusive to China
This game needs to have a global release already
I'm surprised an official Dragon Ball kart racer hasn't happened yet. Toriyama has drawn up so many cool vehicle designs over his career that don't really get used at all.
A CyberConnect2 One Piece game would be dope. Either like Naruto Ninja Storm or DBZ Kakarot, just a decent action game that goes from East Blue to Marineford
