The fact Luffy and Loki have actually been bonding and that Luffy wants him on his crew are huge cases for Loki joining. This ain't some gag request like Kinemon's legs or a side character struggling for relevance - Loki is a centerpiece of the Elbaf arc and Luffy has expressed genuine interest...
Chapter pretty much put it to rest.
But looking back, between haki storage being made a thing and supplemental material dodging Zoro having CoC, I was starting to wonder if he had it, too. If so, it would've been the death knell for Zoro if Oda really went with the stored haki shit.
The Snyderverse was at best an offbeat ElseWorld's interpretation. It was never going to work as the mainstream movie versions of the characters.
So far, Gunn's new universe feels more in line with classic interpretations, but we're still missing a lot of the big players like what this...
I can see either Luffy or Zoro fighting Kizaru as there's a case for both.
Kizaru will likely be the first Admiral to be defeated by the Straw Hats and a momentous event like that is usually reserved for Luffy. And if Saturn doesn't fight that makes Kizaru the strongest enemy and we know those...
Luffy has a bunch of unofficial allies from the Fishmen, Wano, Alabasta, the Minks. It's no different from how Shanks got his allies and territories by just protecting them and they felt indebted.
Don Sai, one of Luffy's Grand Fleet Captains will be the heir to Kano Country too so all of Kano...
How does it not hype up whoever Zoro fights as the WSS? I don't see how it makes Zoro's dream worthless either. One of the main things about it is that Zoro achieves it for someone sake. Him becoming the WSS by the end of the story when it's time to liberate the world signifies the importance of...
The problem is that too many Zoro fans think Mihawk is more important than he actually is. He's only a means to an end and just another Shichibukai as far as Oda seems concerned. The real importance is Zoro becoming the WSS. And it hypes up the Straw Hats immensely going into the final war if...
Luffy hugged Zoro in Wano the same way he hugged Sabo even though they were only apart for like a few days in universe. And lol at any non-Straw Hat being closer to Luffy than Zoro. Aside from his brothers, Luffy's crew are the most important things to him and he loves them all equally.
Both are good in their own ways. Luffy's more inspirational. The kind of leader you would need in a war to raise morale. Teach is more pragmatic and persuasive. Perfect for something like a robbery.
