Binged the whole thing after a year of hiatus.
Political drama was actually good, especially when the series has been lacking in that regard ever since Sei became the official king. But again, the war itself lacks the impact and creativity that made Kingdom stand on its own as among the greats...
It might not be emission (Ryuo = CoA in general) but I don’t know how it can be any more clear that it’s Haki related when Oda had Ryuo explained in the same exact way as what was needed to cut Daz Bones.
He's too strong and his core personality traits would conflict too much with the crew dynamics. He directly parallels Luffy and Zoro which if anything suggests his disconnect to the straw hats.
I don't know what you are expecting but Oda is very conservative with power up handouts and there's no reason to think this upcoming upgrade won't result in a jump several tiers higher, especially with something like CoC which allowed Luffy to go from fodder to Hybrid Kaido to matching him blow...
There is a fairly consistent disposition that CoC users have in common.
Kizaru even being entertained with this shows the lack of basic rational thinking some people have.
I could be wrong but the Abyss is for transportation purposes rather than tied to immortality. At the very least Imu might have created a different contract for Shanks.
Imu needs giants for the upcoming world war.
It's just vulnerability to outsiders cause of operational overload. If they were under immediate threat Sommers wouldn't have been chilling in his crib before getting summoned to Elbaph lmao.
This is gonna be the most boring answer but Imu might just talking metaphorically about the food shortage situation.
This seemed to the inferred as the reason for Shamrock being summoned back to the Holy Land.
