The thing about Jack is that he is objectively far more powerful than Perospero. Jack defeated an entire army of Sulong Minks all by himself, whereas Perospero struggled with 2.
Jack started this battle after already being defeated once, he had like 10 HP.
Where it fails is that his power is...
Zoro and Sanji will get 1/2 Chapters AT Most. When has Oda done more? Go re-read One Piece from Chapter 1. All this expecting 100 chapters for a fight, Idk where its coming from.
Imagine WG reacting to Zoro vs Mr. 1 now? The cancer.
RIght. So me saying "Zoro reduced Hawkins to 1 life in 2 pages", Law did it in 1.5, and Killer spend 10 chapters. And you're saying "Well the last life is Kidd's hurr durr." What about the 10 chapters Killer spent to get to that point?
"Hurr durr reading comprehensionon"
Oh, that I know. Before they got to that point, however, took Killer 10 chapters of content. The Tobi Roppo has been defeated in the meantime. Kinemon killer, Luffy defeated and revived, Sanji started a battle with Queen, etc.
Is that enough "context" for you?
Did some of you really think Oda would give a full chapter of battle to a Non Strawhat fight? Did you skip over the Kanjuro fights? Did y'all forget the very built up Smoker Vs Vergo as well? Maybe Law Vs Doflamingo R1/R2 slipped your mind? Or even Luffy Vs Bellamy for a straw hat example...
Killer is still fighting Hawkins. Zoro finished Hawkins in like 2 pages and went on his way.
Law finished Hawkins in like two moves.
There really is no comparison just because they were there.
Yeah I think for villains who've had multiple scenes, Oda just writes them off real quick. Didn't really want to see more Peros or Jack rbh, though Jack better use at least one named attack.
How many panels did Luffy Vs Cracker have tbh. All we saw was the start of the fight. Then suddenly, skip 11 hours and Luffy wins. The anime put far more meat.
