You don't need to be caught up all the way to start watching the movies. Just up to the chapters that were released before that certain movie. You won't get spoiled if you watch the movies in their chronological order with manga chapters. You'll get spoiled if you watch all the movies first tho lol

If this is indeed true and not usual bait, I'm conflicted. On one hand, I'm glad any plot point actually moved forward and broke the constant status quo. On the other hand, it sucks the wedding isn't going to be canon.
