I am sure its less torture than reading wano weekly... I have been watching/reading one piece since 2006, I only dropped it during Wano because of how bad it was. No story arc will be as torturous as Wano in the history of writing.

You can still show them being "rivals" while also being crewmates. Small interactions is all you need. Its just Oda is burnt out, so he keeps repeating the same gags.

I hope Zoro can stop interacting with Sanji for a while, and let him interact with other SHs. So much time is wasted on their gags its kinda boring and a waste of panels. Unironically the anime did a better interaction between Zoro and Sanji that involved 0 gags, still displayed their rivalry...
